My way or the highway with this.
A series of extremely important things have happened in my life that have led me to make drastic decisions in many ways.
I'm going through a health condition that keeps my nervous system altered 24/7.
Also, much has changed around me, for better and for worse.
I've mentioned repeatedly that the Argentine market no longer responds as it should to graphic design, web design, and programming work. It's logical. My definition for the situation is simple: Jurassic World.
Apparently, "independent professional" is only valid for doctors, lawyers, and accountants, but not for those of us who create marketing strategies, advertising design, and website or app development.
Nooooo... that can only be achieved with a job at an agency (???????). WTF? I've been working as a freelancer for two decades, but right now, it's "not valid."
Which brings me to the stupid, ass-kissing government Argentina currently has.
Hiding and blurring the reality that ARS 1,000 = USD 1 is bullshit, constantly screwing with carry trades, taking advantage of the economic illiteracy of a society that decided to vote for a chainsaw-wielding moron. This is why they can repeat "financial bicycle" in another language and develop cryptocurrency pyramid schemes. After all, who the hell is going to find out?
For this reason, I decided to eliminate many things from my life. Many of them have been a part of my existence for too long, like my constant use of GNU/Linux. This led me to consider streamlining processes by not depending on an operating system that has been going backwards lately instead of finally taking off. It also makes sense. The "spaceship" concept it receives is simply from relentlessly beating your brain and balls by solving simple problems—sometimes emptying the trash—using a terminal.
This is why I might abandon Linux before too long, and even more so on my workstation. As I said: I need to streamline processes. I don't use any AI or automation technology. I simply need my operating system to be 100% user-friendly and a radical change.
Much of this also applies to my behavior on social media. I no longer use them like I used to. The simple reason is that the formula for generating leads isn't about posting promotions on your timeline and creating reels. It's more than that. Much more. It consists of organic traffic, whether it comes from social networks, search engines, Mars, or reptilians exiled in Antarctica. It doesn't matter.
I suppose my approach will change even more as I dedicate myself to seeking that organic traffic, avoiding the dirty tricks of political trolls and clowns in general, who use SPAM to force their way to success through false pretenses and misguided means. But in my case, and with studied variables, the path will be the right one.
The last variable I consider is the conversion rate of much of what we've been doing with cool machine games. Argentina can't keep up with the need to ensure that this conversion rate isn't a joke and even unbelievable because it's dragging on the floor.
Changes, solutions, creativity, and health.
All of this is key when approaching a strategy for a new venture, but that's definitely not going to happen using the same tools and looking out the same window.
